About ANCE

The Alliance Nationale des Consommateurs et de l'Environnement (ANCE) is a Non Governmental Organization (NGO) and a Non-for profit and non political organization established under the Togolese law, related to civil society on September 3rd, 1999 and recognized as an Association under the No. 0290/MATDCL-SG-DLPAP-DOCA of May 21st, 2010 by the Ministry in charge of decentralization. It has also been granted the status of development NGO under No. 651/PR/MPDAT/2012 of 11 July 2012 by the Ministry in charge of planning of Togo. ANCE is the National Chapter of Transparency International in Togo. ANCE is sitting on the Interim Council of the African Union Non-State Actors Forum on Transparency, Accountability and the fight against corruption and on the International Council of the Global Infrastructure Anti-Corruption Centre (GIACC, UK). Finally, ANCE is the National Partner of the International Budget Partnership (IBP) in Togo on the Open Budget Survey (OBS).
