CSO Platform on Illicit Financial Flows (POFFIT)
ANCE serves as the Executive Secretariat of the CSO Platform on Illicit Financial Flows (POFFIT), established on June 19, 2025, in Lomé with funding from GIABA.
POFFIT brings together 25 CSOs and has the vision of “Making Togo a model for combating illicit financial flows and recovering criminal assets.” Our mission is to “Promote citizen participation in the fight against illicit financial flows in Togo.” POFFIT has three (03) specific objectives, namely: (1) to promote experiences and information sharing on illicit financial flows in Togo; (2) to support efforts toward budget transparency and the fight against financial crimes; and (3) to strengthen transparency, accountability, and citizen participation in the oversight of public spending.
POFFIT’s activities include, among other things, raising awareness among public authorities and citizens about the impacts of illicit financial flows and the need to combat them; capacity building for stakeholders; conducting studies; and advocacy, etc.
