Togo Open Budget Platform
ANCE serves as the Technical Secretariat for the Togo Open Budget Platform (PBOT), a network of fifteen (15) Togolese civil society organizations (CSOs) founded in 2022 following a training workshop organized by International Partnership (IBP) and ANCE in Lomé, Togo.
The Platform’s goal is to promote budget transparency, as well as the effectiveness and efficiency of budget execution and oversight in Togo. The Platform works actively to promote budget transparency, as well as the availability, timeliness, and reliability of information on public finances and the budget process; fair and equitable budget allocation and execution; and rigorous budget oversight in accordance with international standards.
Our activities include, among other things, raising public awareness, capacity building, budget monitoring, advocating for rigorous and transparent oversight of the state budget, social auditing, and promoting participatory auditing, etc.
