The relationship between good governance and better economic and social outcomes is increasingly recognised. Budget transparency is the degree of openness concerning the intentions, formulation and implementation, control and monitoring of budget documents. Clearly, according to the OECD, budget transparency is defined as making all budget information fully, timely and systematically available.
The Programme to Support Budget Transparency aims to promote good governance and strengthen the fight against corruption in Togo.
